SARATOGA, CA – Cypress Softball is set to defend their State Championship title as they advance to the 3C2A State Finals for the second year in a row. The defending State Champions will face their district rivals, the Fullerton College Hornets, in what promises to be a thrilling showdown.
SARATOGA, CA – The Cypress Chargers Softball team concluded their remarkable season as runner-ups in the 3C2A State Championship, marking their 31st state tournament appearance. Traveling up north as the defending state champions, the Chargers entered the tournament on an impressive 11-game win streak, having swept through two regional playoff rounds against College of the Canyons and Orange Coast College.

Bio
Morgan Paul enters her first year as an assistant coach for the Cypress Chargers Softball program, bringing a wealth of playing and coaching experience to the team.
As a player, Morgan began her collegiate softball career at Arizona Western College, competing in the Arizona Community Athletic Conference (NJCAA) as an outfielder for the Matadors. She then transferred to Cal State Fullerton, where she continued her career in the NCAA Division 1 Big West Conference as a Titan.
Morgan’s coaching journey spans an impressive seven years in high school softball. She served as an assistant coach for her first three years before stepping into the head coaching role for the last four years. Her commitment to developing athletes and fostering teamwork has made her a respected figure in the softball community.
Morgan is excited to bring her passion for the game and extensive experience to the Cypress Chargers, aiming to contribute to the program’s continued success.
