No. 11-ranked Riverside City College went blow-for-blow with No. 5-ranked Cypress College but ultimately fell 10-9.
The Tigers slip to 18-10 on the year, 5-4 in the Orange Empire Conference, while the Chargers improve to 21-7 overall and 7-2 in conference.

The Chargers took the lead in the fifth, but the Tigers evened things up in the top of the sixth off a Nguyen RBI single. Heidler then drove in Clear to put the visitors back in front in the top of the eighth.
Unfortunately, Cypress scored two runs in the bottom of the ninth to walk away with the win.
