Cypress Men's Golf Claims Second Win of the Season at Victoria Golf Course
Chargers Edge Out Competition for Another First-Place Finish
RIVERSIDE, CA – The Cypress College men's golf team secured their second first-place finish of the season with an impressive team score of 374 at Victoria Golf Course in Riverside. The Chargers edged out College of the Desert (381) by seven strokes to claim the top spot in a competitive field.
Leading the way for Cypress was Vince Quintero, who delivered a stellar round of 70 to pace the Chargers. Grant Muhlenbruch and James Luther both finished strong, carding 74 and 75, respectively. Alex Mascaro added a solid round of 77, while Jonathan Aguilar posted a 78 to round out the team's top five scorers.
