Riverside City College closed the Orange Empire Conference series with No. 5-ranked Cypress College Friday afternoon, dropping a 10-1 (five innings) loss.
The Tigers slip to 8-18 overall and 3-6 in the OEC, while the Chargers improve to 22-4 on the year, 6-2 in conference.
RCC finished with eight hits but left 11 runners on base. Carissa O'Neil led the Tigers with a 2-for-3 performance, while Rebeca Razo (1-for-3), Alysse Flores (1-for-1), Abigail Baldwin (1-for-3), Isabella Ramirez (1-for-3), Ruby McDonald (1-for-3), and Grace Rogers (1-for-3) also had hits.
The Tigers take a brief break from conference action to host Allan Hancock College on Saturday for a pair of games, beginning at 1 p.m.
