Devin Schaffer Leads Cypress in Back to Back OEC Victories
Cypress Chargers men's golf traveled to Arroyo Trabuco GC for their second OEC Coastal division tournament of the season. Cypress took home the crown for the second straight week as Devin Schaffer shot a 4 under-par, 68.
MISSION VIEJO, CA- Cypress Chargers men's golf traveled to Arroyo Trabuco GC for their second OEC Coastal division tournament of the season. Cypress took home the crown for the second straight week as Devin Schaffer shot a 4 under-par, 68.
Schaffer was the difference on Monday as he lead the field by four strokes including teammate, Bryan Urip, who shot even-par (72) and was the runner-up medalist on the day. Consequently enough, Cypress took home the team championship by four strokes as they finished with a 376. The Chargers shot 376 in back to back weeks as Saddleback finished second (380) followed by Orange Coast (396), Cuyamaca College (399) and El Camino (NF).
