Standing Strong with Former Cypress Men’s Water Polo Student-Athlete Isaiah Osorio
Let’s Come Together to Support Isaiah on His Road to Recovery
CYPRESS, CA – The Cypress College Athletics community is devastated to share that Men's Water Polo student-athlete Isaiah Osorio sustained a severe spinal injury over the weekend while working as a Seal Beach Lifeguard with the Junior Guards program.
A two-year scholar-athlete, Isaiah is not only known for his incredible work ethic in the pool, but for his excellence in the classroom, maintaining a 4.0 GPA. He was recently accepted to UCLA for Fall 2025 to continue his academic journey as a Business major.
We are committed to doing everything we can to support Isaiah and his loved ones during this unimaginably difficult time.
