Women's Water Polo All-Orange Empire Conference Awards

CYPRESS, CA- The Orange Empire Conference Awards have been released and women's water polo sees four student-athletes on the list. 

All-OEC First Team - Brooke Shiohama (Freshman)

Goals: 48 | Assists: 26 | Steals: 30

All-OEC Second Team - Megan Lundquist (Freshman), the #2 stat leader for saves in the Orange Empire Conference.

Saves: 190 | Assists: 15 | Steals: 53

All-OEC Honorable Mention - Makayla Serrano (Sophomore)

Career Stats - Goals: 85 | Assists: 31 | Steals: 40

All-OEC Honorable Mention - Jezebell Cervantes (Sophomore)

Career Stats - Goals: 99 | Assists: 57 | Steals: 116

The Chargers ended their season with an overall record of 13-14 and 1-7 in the Orange Empire Conference. The team completed their season at the Orange Empire Conference Tournament, where they defeated district-rivals Fullerton College 9-8 to advance to the semifinals. Cypress fell to the Saddleback Bobcats 16-7 and competed against the Orange Coast Pirates for third place in the tournament. The Chargers were defeated in their final match of the season by the Pirates 12-4.
